I love cooking with gochujang, like in my gochujang bowl, peanut gochujang rice, gochujang cauliflower wings, gochujang lentils, and gochujang tofu sandwich. This gochujang chickpea salad is my most recent gochujang recipe.

I’ve got a bunch of chickpea salad sandwiches on the blog, because there isn’t just one way to make a chickpea salad sandwich. You can add a lot of different spices, herbs, flavors, sauces, and crunchy additions to make super quick lunches that are unique every single time! In this salad, we have creamy dressing with spicy gochujang, paired with caramelized onions that have been cooked with gochujang! Making them sweeter and spiced and gorgeous. You can use these onions in so many ways, on burgers, wraps, bowls and more.

For this chickpea salad sandwich, we add gochujang into the creamy dressing for the chickpea salad. We also caramelize the onions. Once the onions are halfway cooked, we add some gochujang to them, as well, so you get these sweet-and-spicy, delicious onions to top the chickpea salad sandwich. Serve it in a bread or pita sandwich or in a wrap or lettuce wrap or as a dip with tortilla chips or pita chips!

A sheet pan gochujang bowl is an easy, flavor-packed way to use up leftover veggies. Tofu, Veggies, chickpeas are tossed in a delicious Gochujang marinade and baked! Serve your gochujang bowls over rice, lettuce, or noodles. It’s such a versatile meal!

If you’re new to gochujang, it’s a spicy, fermented Korean chili paste with a little bit of a sweet flavor. It’s amazing in sauces, like the sauce and dressing for this gochujang rice bowl!

We’re going to up the flavor ante in this recipe by combining gochujang paste with gochugaru flakes. Gochugaru is the chili used to make gochujang paste, so it really doubles down on that incredible flavor!

This sheet pan meal has lots of veggies, and everything baked on one baking dish! You make this delicious marinade with both gochujang paste and gochugaru flakes for a deep, gochujang flavor for the veggies and protein. And While everything bakes up together, you make a tangy, refreshing dressing with vinegar and gochugaru flakes along with a little bit of maple for the sweet. Double the flavor! The dressing livens the bowl up even more as it pairs amazingly with the roasted veggies as well as crunchy lettuce or rice or any other accompaniments.

After baking, you simply dress the veggies and protein and serve. You can serve the gochujang bowls as-is with the roasted veggies and protein or serve it over rice or as a salad with some fresh spring greens or lettuce. Or add the mixture to wraps! You can also serve this as an entree with cooked greens on the side.

The dressing is just fabulous. If you want to add to the freshness, feel free to add sliced, fresh onion, cucumber, or carrots to pickle them a little bit and then use that extra crunch on your gochujang bowls. How gorgeous is that pan dinner!

My formula to make banging Sheet pan dinners!

  • Get your veggies, chop into similar size pieces
  • get the proteins. Use a mix such as cubed tofu and beans or chickpeas. Or tempeh or seitan and beans or nuts
  • decide on a flavor profile. Spicy savory. For eg Cajun, Berbere, chipotle pepper, gochugaru pepper, Indian garam masala, Jamaican jerk etc.
  • toss and bake.
  • pair with simply zingy lemony dressing or creamy dressing or sweet and tangy dressing.
  • serve as bowl or with bread or with rice or crunchy greens/lettuce

Peanut gochujang rice is a one skillet meal that’s perfect for weeknights. Crispy tofu with rice in a creamy, peanut-gochujang sauce is absolutely addictive!

You all loved my Peanut gochujang Ramen! So here’s that combination to make this incredibly delicious, incredibly easy 1 Pan peanut gochujang rice! You cook all of the rice, veggies, and tofu in a single skillet!
This is a meal that you can put together really quickly and then the rest is just a wait for the rice to cook. Don’t eat up all that delicious tofu while waiting for the rice!

To make gochujang rice, first we crisp up some tofu that’s bathed in an amazing marinade. You can either fry it in the same skillet that you’ll use for the rice or bake it in the oven. Then, you add all the veggies, rice, and the peanut gochujang sauce mixture. It all cooks together in one skillet for easy prep and clean up! Garnish with some crunch for an amazing weeknight meal that checks all the boxes!

Pan-fried crispy tofu, coated with a sticky, spicy & sweet blackberry glaze! This is a true flavor bomb and thanks to the blackberry it has a beautiful deep purple color. Pluck those blackberries and make this easy sauce!

Korean chili paste gochujang adds some heat to the glaze while maple syrup helps intensify the natural sweetness of the blackberries.  A small amount of cornstarch helps thicken the glaze while simmering.

A hearty Banh Mi style spicy sweet Gochujang sandwich! A perfect summer lunch! It has an amazing flavor from the gochujang baked tofu, sweet mango, cilantro and zesty pickled cucumber carrots jalapeño.

This is a banh mi-style summer sandwich with a delicious gochujang marinade. I love this marinade for tofu, and the sandwich is topped with lots of fresh, crunchy vegetables that are marinated in the same gochujang marinade with some extra vinegar for tang.

It makes a fabulously fresh summer sandwich! You can also make it into a wrap or a salad bowl.

Because we use a modified version of the tofu marinade to quick pickle the veggies, this sandwich comes together in a flash with fewer dishes! but is still packed with flavor. I like to serve any remaining marinade on the side for dipping the sandwich! Trust me you will want to lick all of that. It’s a quick lunch that your family will make again and again.

For this spicy peanut butter ramen, you cook the noodles directly in the broth, so you only need one pot. I topped it with some crispy tofu, and you can use the same pot to crisp up the tofu that you use to cook the ramen. You can bake the tofu, though, if you prefer.

I don’t think there’s a week that goes by that I don’t crave some kind of salty and savory Asian-inspired meal. Right around mid-morning, I start to dream of takeout being delivered right to my door without delay. Good news: this easy Korean gochujang tofu stir-fry with miso peanut sauce will be on the table in 1-2-3. Quicker than take-out!

Whipping up the perfect sweet and spicy peanut sauce is my favorite way to revive any end-of-the-week vegetables in my fridge! Add some tofu and you have a fabulously simple Korean-inspired stir fry.

Star ingredients here are peanut butter, miso paste and gochujang. This dream team makes the stir-fry sauce super flavorful.  Gochujang is a Korean-style red chili paste that is savory, sweet and spicy. It’s a fermented condiment used in many Korean dishes and a variety of Korean soups and stews. If you end up with leftovers (and you will) use it up in any of these recipes.

Miso, Gochujang  and Peanut Butter are such a magical combo. You all loved my miso gochujang baked whole cauliflower ,so I used that same marinade in this quick tofu veggie stir fry! What can I say? Flavor explosion guaranteed!

For an easy stir fry recipe look no further than this Korean Gochujang Rice Noodles stir-fry! With bold flavors coming from the Korean red pepper paste, this rich and saucy noodle stirfry will be a new favorite come dinner time.

The sauce uses Gochujang, a  bright red fermented Korean chili paste that’s sweet, a bit spicy, and savory. Korean Gochujang is used as a condiment or in sauces in many Korean recipes so don’t hold back from buying that jar. I promise you will find so many ways to use it.

I use pad thai style rice noodles for this recipe which are the perfect noodle for any saucy stir fry recipe because they grab ahold of any sauce you toss them with. This also makes the recipe Glutenfree. For a low-carb version, you could use konjac noodles or zucchini noodles.
